Fiona Campion - Clinical Reflexologist & Holistic Therapist

Fiona discovered the many benefits of complementary therapies which inspired her to retrain as a Clinical Reflexologist and Sports Massage Therapist after having had a long and successful career beforehand working in and for FTSE 100 companies.  Fiona regularly saw the detrimental effects stress has on our wellbeing. Not only has reflexology and massage therapies improved her family's quality of life but many clients' suffering with the symptoms of stress and other conditions.

Qualifications

Fiona Campion, Proprietor of Vous Therapies is qualified to the highest level in Practitioner Reflexology training for the Centralia Reflexology Mastership (incorporating Agored Cymru units at Level 5) at Jubilee College Leicester where she was taught by the renowned and experienced Reflexologist David Wayte, Principle of Jubilee College, Reflexology board member of the CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council) and the first reflexologist in the UK to become a member of The Royal Society of Medicine.

Fiona continued her professional training by the award winning Tutor, Ziggie Bergman at the London School of Reflexology to become a Holistic Facialist & Practitioner specialising in:

  • Facial Gua Sha Mastery

  • Indian Head Massage

Fiona continued with ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage which further supplemented her knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology within the field of sports and the effects and benefits of massage on the body systems along with a Diploma in Hot/Cold Stones for Sports Massage.

Fiona is currently undertaking the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA) Essentials Oils Therapy Diploma (PEOT) Level 5 which is designed to develop knowledge and understanding of producing and formulating aromatherapeutic blends for scientific benefit and clinical application. Fiona will have the skills to produce her own product line for use on the body and with illnesses of psychosomatic origins or when applying prescriptive essential oils therapy. This is the highest specialist qualification in Aromatherapy and devised by industry experts, pharmacists and chemists.

Fiona is a registered member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and the International Federation of Aromatherapists (IFA).

Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC)

​CNHC registration is recognised for reimbursement with a number of private health care providers. This means clients who are members of private health care can often claim for the cost of the treatments when they visit CNHC registered complementary therapists.

​

CNHC is approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care.

This provides additional assurance that CNHC registrants meet UK-wide standards of patient safety and service quality.

​

The General Medical Council (GMC) guidance state that Doctors are able to refer patients to practitioners on Accredited Registers – which includes practitioners registered with CNHC.​  The Department of Health has recommended that where people are looking for complementary health practitioners they use someone who is registered with CNHC.​

​

Association of Reflexologists (AoR)

AoR membership is awarded to qualified, fully insured Reflexologists that are committed to high professional standards and adhere to their strict code of practice with ongoing commitment to continued professional development.  A full membership is only given to those who have completed a regulated or University accredited or credit-rated qualification.  This must include 49 or more hours of face to face teaching of the Provide Reflexology module in your training along with at least 100 treatments for your course, including case studies.

Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT)

Established in 1962, the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) is the largest professional body for complementary, beauty and sports therapists, as well as those starting out or teaching. They provide practical support to our members and protect the public's health by ensuring high standards in both training and practice.

International Federation of Aromatherapists

The IFA is the largest authoritative body for aromatherapists worldwide and is currently active in 73 countries. Having worked with various Government Health committees worldwide, the IFA is actively involved with elevating academic standards and influencing policy in the Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) field. The IFA pioneered the use of aromatherapy in the NHS, with its first stationed Head Quarters at the Royal Masonic Hospital, which is why aromatherapy is integrated within the UK medical profession today. To this day, the IFA continues to be the authoritative voice for the profession and carries on with the same strong sense of purpose, enthusiasm and commitment, which first inspired its creation. The IFA is the largest authoritative body for aromatherapists worldwide and is currently active in 73 countries
